Incorporation of STEM Education into our schools curricular is key since the global world is transitioning from the old system of life. Women and Girls have the capacity and ability to also pursue STEM courses due to our creative nature and the ability to be innovative. Educating the girl child in STEM courses increases their innovative ideas and thinking, that is they are able to think outside the box to solve modern societal problems. STEM education inspires the creativity and ingenuity in girls. It motivates our girls to use their imaginative ability to interpret situations. It also builds their confidence as it teaches them to accept failure and bounce back when it occurs. STEM education prepares the future of our girls for high-demand careers. Therefore The STEMinist Foundation, Ghana encourages women and girls into STEM education and careers.
